The fourth grade students have been using the Hour of Code website to learning the language of computer coding. Using a simple block coding program, they were able to create computer games. Click the image below to see their games.
The fourth grade students worked with Patty Talen to create this year's March 4th Performance.
1st Grade students used the ipad apps, Doodle Buddy and Book Creator, to create a new page for the classic Gingerbread Man Story. Their pictures show what they thought might try to catch their runaway Gingerbread Man.

Mrs. Josephs' 2nd Grade student's researched a planet, the sun, or the moon, and reported on their findings in front of the Green Screen.

Fourth Grade students researched famous Wisconsinites. Some students chose to report on their person by creating a video.
The second grade students used library books and PebbleGo to research an animal and its habitat and adaptations. They also studied the text features found in nonfiction books and websites. They took notes, and wrote information about their animal into the pages of Book Creator, an iPad app. When they were finished, they recorded their writings to share with other students.
Third grade students in Mrs. Josephs' and Mrs. Kohlmann's classes researched a rock or mineral using the Rocks and Minerals iPad App. Then they used Pic Collage to create posters to illustrate their findings on the many uses of rocks.
